Introduction to Understanding White Privilege

This course unpacks the premise and concept of white privilege through the lense of Black Americans and persons of color.

How does it guise and manifest itself to perpetuate racism at the individual, organizational and systemic levels?
How can white people understand the theoretical language of white privilege and their complicity in it whether intentional or not.

This conversation will be loosely centered around:
1. Understanding White Privilege: Creating Pathways to Authentic Relationships Across Race by Francis E. Kendall
2. White Privilege Unpacking The Invisible Backpack by Peggy Mcintosh
